The Helpers Fund also has a Scholarship Program, begun in 2002. At present five students are receiving our scholarships.

The Helpers Fund makes its programs possible by conducting a variety of fundraising events throughout the year and by accepting donations from families, individuals and businesses in the area who wish to support its goals. Our events include:

• our Helpers Fund Golf Tournament in June,

• the Helpers Fund 5K/10K Races in September,

  The 5K/10K races are part of the
  Adirondack Marathon Distance Festival weekend
  
  
• the 50/50 Scholarship Raffle until November,
